West Bridgewater Youth Football is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of tackle football with heavy emphasis on proper tackle techniques, teamwork, sportsmanship all while having fun!
Ages
What aged players are appropriate for this program?
Our Tackle Football Program is for Boys & Girls 1st & 2nd Grade (mighty mite) through Age 14 (midgets).
All teams are based on age, weight and experience
When
What time of the year does this program run?
Practice for Tackle Football starts Mid August, and the season runs through November.
Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Mites, Peewees & Midgets Game Day is typically Sunday. Home Games are held at West Bridgewater Middle Senior High School.
Mighty Mites Game Day is typically Saturday. Home Games are held at West Bridgewater Middle Senior High School
Practices
Practices are held 4 nights per week and are typically Tues - Friday (subject to change)
Equipment
We provide most required equipment including: Speedflex Helmets, Shoulder Pads, Practice Jersey & Practice Pants, Game Jersey & Game Pants & Mouth Guard.
All issued equipment is expected to be returned at the end of each season.
Participants will need to provide their own athletic cup & cleats.
Weigh Ins
As part of the Old Colony Youth Football League, players are required to weigh-in prior to each week’s game. Players must be below the max game weight in order to be eligible to play.
Head Coaches & Team Weight in Reps are available to answer any questions.
COST
Squad C, Squad B and Squad A: $250
Squad D: $175
There are two option for your registration fee: Payment plan or Pay in Full

1lbs is added each week
When do we get equipment?
There will be a date for each team in August to come to the field and get equipment.
Players must attend to ensure proper fit.

2024 Tackle Football Season
This Registration is for Tackle football for the 2024 Season.
We are requiring that a parent or guardian for each player registration volunteer at least 2 times during the season. We have had issues in filling spots over the past few seasons.
We are still one of the cheapest programs in the OCYFL but we need parent volunteers in order to stay that way and to successfully host home games.
